I spent the next 17 years living in Glasgow, thereafter Aberdeen, and worked with a number of private sector companies in marketing roles.
My career began with Acomarit, a global ship management firm; continuing on to professional services firm Deloitte then moving to Aberdeen to take up the position of Marketing Manager for Stronachs Solicitors.
My most recent role was working with Norco Group in a senior Business Development role. This role encompassed marketing and business development, and the development and implementation of a set of human resources policies and employment contracts. Compliance Management Systems including health and safety, quality and environmental management and the ongoing management and upkeep of these systems was part of the role.
Acquiring the hands on experience of this diverse range of skills, backed up by professional qualifications and memberships, puts me in the unique position of being able to offer a broad spectrum of management services to clients throughout the Outer Hebrides.
I travel to my customer's premises and work flexibly, fitting in with the day to day requirements of their business. With ever present constraints on budgets and payrolls, I am able to deliver cost-effective management services to customers.
I am a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Professional Indemnity Insurance cover is in place.
